BIM in the Malaysian construction industry: a scientometric review and case study

Purpose The purpose of this study is to explore existing literature on Building Information Modelling (BIM) in Malaysia and examine the perception practitioners about potential BIM applications reducing construction waste enhancing productivity. Design/methodology/approach First, using 244 bibliographic data extracted from Scopus database, paper used scientometric analysis VOSviewer mapping technique assess most impactful publication identify research gaps. Second, a structured questionnaire, total 100 questionnaires were distributed practising who incorporate delivery their projects. Descriptive cross-tabulation SPSS software, radar chart, relative importance index Pearson’s correlation analyze data.
